Sands Building Group Welcomes VP Hal Funderburk

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., May 01, 2019–Sands Building Group (SBG) of Myrtle Beach would like to introduce Hal Funderburk, vice president of construction, who was hired in May 2019.

Here at Sands, Funderburk plans and oversees the construction and development of single-family and multi-family projects throughout the southeastern United States. He also works closely with the project managers, purchasing managers and superintendents to coordinate the execution of each project.

Before joining SBG, Funderburk worked for 19 years with Dargan Construction as a superintendent and project manager on large commercial projects. A native of South Carolina, he earned his construction science management degree from Clemson University. When he’s not on the job, Funderburk enjoys training for triathlons and being on the field coaching his son’s baseball team.
