Project Estimator

We are currently seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team. The Estimator is responsible for researching and recruiting qualified subcontractors and vendors to bid our projects and ultimately producing a complete and accurate construction budget. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, an initiative-taker who is extremely motivated with a strong knowledge of the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project documents and blueprints to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
• Perform complex analysis of collected data and metrics.
• Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts and conduct complex risk analysis.
• Create and present reports to upper management.
• Calculate labor, material, and time requirements for a project.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs.
• Solicit qualified subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assess and evaluate bid proposals.
• Build and support long-term relationships with key vendors and contractors.
• Assist with Project Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an estimator or similar role.
• Software Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required), Auto Desk (desired)
• Experience in Project Management (desired)
